Beautiful venues, super fun people, and some of the best wedding food yet – we don’t photograph many destination weddings, but this one rocked for sure. We loved all the great details, many made by the family and friends, you can really tell they spent a lot of time and thought on everything, and it showed.

Down in Florida for Brit and Scott’s wedding, we decided to hit the beach after the rehearsal dinner for some photos. Had to hurry a bit to beat a storm, but it was fun for sure….
Just a few more images from an amazing wedding Saturday. There have been a couple weddings where I have nearly teared up, and this was one of those for sure.
It is always cool to work with family, and this wedding was fun for sure.
One of the choices we make with our couples is where to do the engagement photos? Red river gorge, Downtown Lexington, or one of the nearby parks? With Morgan and Kurt, we couldn’t decide on just one, so we had two engagement sessions, this one around downtown – caught a perfect day, little bit of fall color, and some lights…
Was really looking forward to this wedding for a while, and it fully lived up to the expectations! Maybe a little bit chilly, but a very fun wedding.
Here are some images:

Just a few more images from Saturday’s Wedding. The reception was at Clifview, the cake by our great friends Martine (Bourbon flavored wedding cake is good!) and catering by Miguel’s Pizza
While the weather was a bit funky during the morning, the sun came out right at the end of the ceremony – a great sign for sure! The ceremony was at Torrent Falls – our favorite venue (though I may be a bit biased since we were married there as well). Peter got a bit of climbing in and sent has project on the first try, then walked two minutes down the hill to get ready for the wedding. Not many venues have that option. Here is the first set of images…
Had a great time with Jennifer and Tyler and their dog, Ruby, this afternoon in the red river gorge! Fall colors and blue skies combined with a great couple make photography super fun. Started out with a cool field, then mill creek lake, and finished with some twilight images on sky bridge. Tania and I both love it when couples bring their dogs along, and Ruby did great – definitely earned her treat.
More images from the wedding. I probably have at least four full blog posts with just dancing shots as well, so will try to get one of those up in the next couple days. It has been a lot of fun going back over the photos, just so many cool moments and good times.
