While we don’t do many family photos, we have had such a good time with the ones we have done that we might have to look at doing them more often. I think we have been spoiled with some great parents and little ones so far though. Great time with Mike, Amy, and family for Audrey’s first birthday. Amazing people for sure, and loved the lighting we had available.

Fall Family Photos, Red River Gorge Style

Start with some nice fall color and some nice lighting, add in a very cool family to work with, and you end up with a really fun photo session! Having such great conditions, and especially, great people, to work with makes photography pretty easy sometimes.

The Sparks Family

So, we haven’t really done many family type photo sessions so far. Partly because we didn’t want to do the studio type photos, and partly because we just don’t really pursue that style of photography. But, after talking with the Sparks family a bit, they were kind enough to give us an opportunity to do a series of sessions with them, and their amazingly cute daughter. We did the session at the red river gorge, and I am pretty happy with how they turned out. If every family is this much fun to work with, we might just have to do some more!
